When adding fans to a system, maintaining positive pressure within the case can prevent dust from being sucked into any open holes or crevices. Some manufacturers incorporate LED lighting into their fans as well. Larger fans can usually spin at lower speeds and still move plenty of air without making much noise.
If during assembly, you need to switch out the socket, you can use a pin removal tool to remove and relocate the wire/pin assembly to a new socket. Some fans even come with built-in LED lights, others are more performance focused such as this Noctua Chromax fan. The connector assembly's plug and receptacle rely on unique pins and socket designs, so keep that in mind when you're ordering components. for that i am scared that the connector would melt on my psu one day. the issue with that is that for 1 case fan the molex connector hangs down a bit and as a result rests on my psu since the fan header is right above it.
